"Being in the Spanish Club has been the highlight of my year!" - Morgan L.

Along with our exceptional curriculum, Thurston has many clubs, organizations, events, and programs that enhance student life and culture.

With more than 20 clubs and organizations from Eco Club and ASB to Spanish Club and Model United Nations, students at Thurston have the opportunity to discover new talents and interests, as well as grow as a team member and leader. Most of our clubs meet during lunch one day a week, with many also meeting after school and on weekends, depending on the activity. All of our clubs are sponsored and hosted by a staff member, although some clubs are run by outside organizations.

In addition to our clubs, Thurston's SMART Card program is a way for students to be rewarded for positive and SMART behavior. Teachers and staff frequently hand out SMART cards to students, and those cards can be turned in to the library for our weekly drawings. In those drawings, student can earn various prizes and access to our SMART Assemblies!

On top of all of these things, there are field trips, dances, and many things other happening at Thurston on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Please check out the vast array of options to get connected at Thurston and find one (or more) activity that fits your interests! Thurston is a great place to be!
