World Languages

Our mission is four-fold. First, to develop language-learning skills in students, which lay the foundation for advanced language study and lifelong language learning. Second, to broaden students' cross-cultural awareness and open doors to new ideas and values. Third, to foster healthy attitudes about people of other cultures through the comparative study of language and cultures. And finally, to provide motivation for continued language study so that students can achieve higher levels of proficiency in their selected languages.
